FlickrFS

Flickrfs makes uploading to, downloading from, and organizing a Flickr account just like handling files in a mounted file system. After installing and setting up the link to your account, you can see all your photos separated into tag folders, edit and back up the pics and their metadata, and crop and resize photos on the fly, all reflected in realtime in your online account.

The Big Word Project, Dictionary Based Viral Marketing

Friday, May 9th, 2008

A couple of grad students from Ireland have created this site where you can buy a word (at a dollar a letter) to “redefine” it. The redefinition, of course, consists of a link to whatever site you like. Their example is to buy the word monkey (at $6), and have it link back to your site about monkeys.

I bought “last” which link to the melastmohican.net site.
